Rubina Dilaik was announced as the winner of Big Boss 14 by the host Salman Khan on Sunday. Rahul Vaidya accompanied the Shakti fame on the Grand Finale stage. Other than Rubina Dilaik and Rahul Vaidya, Rakhi Sawant, Aly Goni, and Nikki Tamboli were the five finalists of the show. The winner announcement was made after the live voting when fans were allowed to vote for one last time. It was mentioned during the announcement that there was a minimal difference in the number of votes among Rubina and Rahul.
Where Rakhi chose to leave the show-taking amount of Rs 14 lakhs, the audience voted out Aly and Nikki. Even after bringing the famous faces to this season of Big Boss, the entertainment factor slowly started decreasing. The two top finalists somehow managed to be the opposing strongest personalities from the beginning only. Both were on the loggerheads from the starting and they confessed it too that they are unaware of the reason that has caused so many differences between the two. The fans have stated that the reason for the clash among the two is the similarity among both of them.
Rubina mentioned that she entered the show only because her husband was called this time to the show. Both of them appeared to be a happy couple from the beginning. But a task revealed that their relationship and marriage were going through hard times and they have given each other a time period of few months to realize if their marriage could work. And the couple emerged to strengthen their bond during the time they spent in the Big Boss house.
It was not a cakewalk for Rubina to have good friends in the show. She was initially happy to see her neighbor and actress Jasmin Bhasin accompanying her as a competitor in Big Boss, they ended being a rival only. When in one episode Jasmin was quoted as Rubina’s puppet, she started maintaining a distance from the latter. Rubina was never liked by all and was mentioned that she has a superiority complex. Even the host of the show, Salman Khan loses their temper on her many times while interacting. However, her wonderful journey ended up being a winner that left the show with the winning trophy and a cash prize of Rs 36 lakhs.
