After the announcement of extension of national lockdown for 19 more days, the government has released some guidelines to follow during the lockdown period. The government has allowed movement of vehicles of E-commerce brands including Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal and others. The Ministry of Home Affairs stated that vehicles belonging to e-commerce companies are allowed to move during lockdown from April 20 with some permission.Although these guidelines does not imply for the areas classified as hotspots of the virus.
Snapdeal has informed that government of Odisha has allowed the delivery of all the goods in state and they are all prepared to deliver the goods safely as required by the customers.
The government has allowed the construction of roads and buildings in areas of the rural and IT companies to reduce the movement of millions people in order to check the spread of the virus. States’ government will be responsible to check if the lockdown and social distancing is being followed. The guidelines includes some economic activities that will help to decrease the burden on daily wage workers. The places for worship are completely restricted and the assembling of multiple people is also not allowed. Funerals are allowed to have gathering of not more than 20 people.
All of the education centers, schools, colleges shall remain closed until lockdown is completely removed. The services that are exempted from lockdown does not apply for the areas that falls under the category of hotspots.
A 25 years old man was shot and injured by the fellow Ludo for spreading coronavirus as he coughed while playing. Over 115 people of Himachal Pradesh were tested for the Coronavirus out of which 23 have been resulted as negative and results of other 92 is awaited.
