Sargam Koushal is the new Mrs. World 2022, beating contenders coming from over 63 countries. She brings the crown back to India after a long wait of 21 years. Mrs. World 2021, Shaylyn Ford from the US presented the crown to Sargam at a ceremony that was organized at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on Saturday evening. Mrs. Polynesia was named the first runner-up, followed by Mrs. Canada as the second runner-up.
The Mrs. India Pageant declared the information of the winner with a post on its official Instagram page on Sunday. The post shared by the group said, “The long wait is over, it’s after 21 years we have the CROWN back!” “We’ve got the crown back after 21-22 years. I’m so excited. Love you India, love your world,” the newly crowned Mrs. World, who belongs to Jammu and Kashmir, in a video of the ceremony.

Sargam Koushal is a 32-year-old model, painter, and content writer belonging to Jammu & Kashmir. Sargam has done Master’s Degree in English Literature. She gave credit for her win to her father who is a retired banker.
Sargam Koushal is married to a Navy officer and lives in Mumbai. In an interview, she said, the most beautiful phase of her life is her marriage.
