PM Modi congratulated the whole team of ISRO and said it’s an “important step in the landmark journey to the Moon.”

Well to complete the whole lunar journey, there are 4 more orbits which are lying on the way. The spacecraft has to cross these four orbits to enter into the final lunar orbit which is passing from the lunar poles and it’s about 100km from the moon’s surface. After this on 2nd September, the Vikram lander will separate from the orbiter.
