Google Photos with Paid color pop feature

Google has brought a new photo editor for Android. The software is loaded with AI suggestions along with many different amazing editing features to support you edit in a great way. It offers awesome features like “color enhancing” and “color pop”. A report has come out that says, in the upcoming update, Google is going to offer a new feature i.e. color pop which will allow users to make great changes in their photos.

Google One Subscription

But the feature is available as paid only which implies if you want to access the feature you need to purchase the Google One subscription. Google is also looking to introduce more paid features in the future. The color pop feature is free to use for the photos having depth details. But to use this feature for other images, you have to buy the subscription, which is locked behind the Google One paywall. If you use the color pop for the images without depth information, you will see a screen saying, “Get extra editing features with a Google One membership” and “Unlock this feature and more with a Google One membership.” 

A spokesperson from Google says, “In Google Photos, color pop is a feature that continues to be available for anyone to use, at no cost, for photos with depth information. As part of an ongoing rollout that began earlier this year, Google One members can apply the feature to even more photos of people, including those without depth information”.

A report from Google says, “As a Google One member, you get access to extra editing features, “Get extra editing features with a Google One membership”.
