The 2023 “G20 Summit” is on the verge of commencement, with leaders from around the world converging in Delhi for this prestigious event. Prominent figures such as Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Argentine President Alberto Fernández, and IMF chief Kristalina Georgieva have already touched down in the national capital. The gathering is all set to welcome US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and various other dignitaries scheduled to arrive at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport today.

To ensure the smooth execution of the summit, the Delhi Police have implemented advanced traffic measures, beginning today, that affect various areas across the city. Additionally, New Delhi will be strictly inaccessible to the general public and tourists from 8 to 10 September, with only emergency services permitted.
