Narcotics Control Bureau raids at actor Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash’s house in Mumbai under their program of searching the Bollywood drug network. NCB impounds over 1.8 grams of Hashish from the place. She was also called by the investigation agency earlier for the inquiry.
Zonal Director of NCB, Sameer Wankhede, told a news agency ANI, “Karishma Prakash (Deepika Padukone’s manager) has been summoned for investigation tomorrow”.

Drug Chats of Deepika Padukone with Karishma
The Republic media network previously in September reported the drug chats among Karishma and Deepika. In the chats, Deepika was noticed asking for “maal” and “hash” from Karishma to which the manager replied that she has it at her home.
When NCB confronted the actress, she agreed and told that the chat is from the year 2017.
Other actors from Bollywood including Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakulpreet were also summoned by the NCB as they were enquiring about the Bollywood drug links. Other actors Sanam Johar along with Abigail Pande were also summoned after finding drugs at their place. The drug nexus burst after NCB has found shreds of evidence against Rhea and Showik Chakraborty for acquiring narcotics.
After month stay at Bhayculla jail, Rhea was provided bail on 7th October while her brother Showik Chakraborty is still in jail.
Interrogation with Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone was inquired by the Narcotics Control Bureau for procuring drugs on September 26. She was held by the investigating agency for around 5 hrs later to which her mobile was seized and sent to the DFS (Directorate of Forensic Science) in Gandhinagar to examine all deleted videos and chats.
In another investigation of NCB for the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput, brother of Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades has been arrested. He is arrested as he was found having connections with the drug peddlers arrested in Sushant’s case.
