The Gautam Buddh Nagar police captured four men, along with a Ghaziabad history-sheeter, after a crossfire in Noida with the police force just within six hours from Monday night till the initial hours of Tuesday.
The first clash was with the Sector 39 police in Sector 98 Noida. As per Rajneesh Kumar, ACP-1 (Noida), “At around 9.30 pm, there was a conflict between a fiend, named Shahrukh, 26, and the Sector 39 police. He was wounded in the leg. He’s a burglar formerly jailed for multiple cases in Noida and Ghaziabad and wanted in a robbery case in the Noida Sector 20 police station.”
The ACP further added, “He was involved in more than three dozen cases. He is also listed as one of the top ten Ghaziabad’s wanted criminals.
Another encounter was held in the Jarcha jurisdiction, where the police blocked an escape vehicle. ADCP (Greater Noida) Dinesh Kumar Singh said, “According to the Jarcha station house officer, checking was running at a junction.
The third encounter happened with the Phase-1 police around a cleft in the Sector 15A area. The encounter ended with the detention and injury of Usman, 27. Yogendra Singh, ACP-2, Greater Noida said, “Around 12.15 am, a Sector 8 denizen, Mohammad, was looted off his mobile. Barricade checking was at its peak at night and the accused did not stem at the first checkpoint.
Actions were taken to stop him at a nearby circuitous and police were after him. He tumbled off his vehicle in the 15A region. He shot at the police and got injured in the leg in the relapsing fire.”
