Today Reliance Jio has announced the commercial launching date of its fibre-to -home service Jio GigaFiber. The company’s chairman Mukesh Ambani made this official announcement at the 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). He said that Jio GigaFiber will start being available from September 5. Jio is offering many more advanced services to GigaFiber users along with high-speed internet.

- Jio Giga Fiber plans will start from Rs 700. Its most expensive plan will cost to Rs 10,000.
- Jio GigaFiber’s lowest-cost plan will get 100Mbps speed and the users who are premium plan subscribers will get 1Gbps speed.
- Users will get lifetime free Jio GigaFiber with voice calling and high-speed internet. They will only have to pay for data, voice calling will be free forever in India.
- Reliance Jio will provide HD / 4K LED Television set and 4K Setup Box free to the customers purchasing an annual package of GigaFiber.
- Mukesh Ambani said that new films will also be released on Jio GigaFiber. This means the user will be able to watch the first day, the first show of the film sitting at home. Ambani said that the facility will start in the mid of 2020.
- To enjoy the cinema hall at home, the company has also launched a mixed reality device.
- Mixed reality can also be used in virtual shopping and education. With this, you will be able to wear clothes virtually and see you how you looks
in it.
- Mukesh Ambani said that many premium OTT applications will get subscriptions in Jio GigaFiber. This means that the user will not have to pay separately for the service of Netflix and Amazon Prime.
- Reliance has also launched a new international calling pack for international calling users. In this plan of 500 rupees, unlimited free calling will be given for the US and Canada.
- Jio will also provide a set-top box to its users. With this, users will be able to talk to four people simultaneously through video conferencing. This set-top box will come with inbuilt gaming service. With this, users will be able to play popular online games. Its special feature is that it will also support multiplayer gaming.
- In this, users will get a phone upgrade with Priority SIM setup service. Along with this, special family plans will also be offered in it.
