Sanoj Raj of Jahanabad, Bihar has become the first Crorepati of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 11. Though, he has failed to win the jackpot question of Rs. 7 crore, but he is happy in his 1 crore amount and considers this winning amount to his father.
He played the whole game well and even after knowing the answer of the 15th question which was of 1 crore he took the lifeline of Ask the Expert. The question was –“Which Chief Justice of India was the father of a Chief Minister of a state in India? Ans.- Justice Ranjan Gogoi. “
Amitabh Bachchan even asked the reason behind using a lifeline despite knowing the right answer. Here Sanoj answered and said, “I can’t use the lifeline in the last question of 7 Crore and I don’t want to take the risk in the question of 1 Crore, that’ s why I have used the lifeline.”
Well, the 16th question of 7 Crore was “Who was the Indian bowler off whom Australian legend Don Bradman got a single to reach his 100th first-class century?”

An IAS aspirant but gave up on it due to his family condition
Sanoj Raj hails from Jahanabad district of Bihar. The financial condition in the family was not well where his father is a farmer and mother is a housewife. He wanted to become the IAS aspirant and serve the nation. The poor financial condition of the family made him give up on his IAS studies and he started doing job. Though, currently, he is preparing for UPSC in New Delhi.
