PM Modi will be inaugurating 1.75 lakh homes in MP today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is about to inaugurate 1.75 lakh homes built in Madhya Pradesh under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana on 12th September. He will be taking part in the event via VC (video conferencing) and will also share information about some of the advantages of the scheme. PM Modi said on Friday, this is a crucial measure in reaching the goal of providing shelter to the poor by the year 2020. He posted on Twitter, “This is an important step in achieving the goal of giving a home to every family in the country by 2020. These houses built under the PM Awas Yojana-Gramin are proof that the corona pandemic too couldn’t stop the development work.

The target of the PMA Yojana is to develop around 20 million affordable homes by the end of March 2022.

Total cases of Coronavirus in India have reached a tally of 4,659,984 with 77,506 recorded deaths. However, recovered cases have a count of 3,624,196 and active cases are 9, 58,316.

28,663,304 cases of Coronavirus have been reported till date with 919,797 reported deaths while the recovered patients hold a count of 20,587,770. Count of active cases of Covid-19 in the world is 7,155,737.
