The decades-old Ayodhya dispute has finally come to an end with the Supreme Court’s verdict on 9th November 2019. As the historical judgement passed on this day where it was announced that Ram Mandir will be constructed on the 2.77-acre site in UP’s Ayodhya land and an alternative land of 5 acres is given to Sunni Waqf Board for building the mosque.

With this happy ending of the dispute, UP govt. has geared up themselves to construct the splendid temple in Ayodhya. The plan of Yogi government is to build the biggest religious destination in North India.  Even there is planning to form an Ayodhya Tirth Development Board for executing this task in the proper way. The construction of North India’s biggest religious destination will reportedly take 4 years approx.

Apart from expanding the town’s accessibility, govt will soon make an International Airport in Ayodhya that is likely to be inaugurated in next year on Ram Navami. Modi govt in central has already sanctioned an amount of Rs.100 crore to revamp the Ayodhya railway station.

“The government is finalising development programs for Ayodhya on a large scale. The development plan will be made public very soon once it is finalised.” said Ayodhya Mayor Rakesh Upadhyay.

Moreover, a bus terminus with a capacity of 3,000 to 4,000 bus has been also proposed and currently waiting for the CM’s approval.

Ayodhya Teerth Vikas Parishad will be constituted. Plans are on to start river cruise on Saryu river in Ayodhya. It will take almost four years for Ayodhya to become a city like Tirupati,” said deputy director Information of Ayodhya division Murlidhar Singh”.

The Culture and Tourism department sources suggest that 13 km long corridor on the life of Lord Ram is also on the cards. A flyover of 5km long between the Faizabad and Ayodhya will be also built, said Murlidhar Singh. Including this, a cruise on the Saryu river is also proposed that will give a scenic view to the Ayodhya tourists and devotees. Meanwhile, the construction of resorts and five-star hotels are also expected to come in Ayodhya. Ayodhya Municipal Corporation has also sent a proposal of including 41 nearby villages into Ayodhya to the government. Earlier this proposal included the 22 villages.

“The temple of Lord Ram, which will be built in Ayodhya, will be the biggest religious place in the country. If 2,000 craftsmen (kaarigar) will be working for 8 hours in a day, then the temple will be ready in two-and-half years. So far 65 per cent of the stones have been already carved,” said Murlidhar Singh.

If the process will be executed according to the above manner and sources then the state govt. will likely to rope a force of more than 2000 labours for building this North India’s biggest religious destination i.e. Ram Mandir.
