Airtel has launched its voice over Wi-Fi service called Airtel Wi-Fi Calling. Through this service, the company wants to improve the voice calling experience of smartphone users. The company is trying to give users the best calling experience when they are indoors. The company is not charging any extra charge to subscribers for the Airtel Wi-Fi calling service. The company claims that this application consumes very less cellular data. Wi-Fi calling service is currently available to users of Delhi-NCR. The company says that gradually this service will be made available across the country.

Airtel Wi-Fi calling can be activated very easily. There is no need to install a separate app for this and users can configure it on their smartphone as well. You can also enjoy this service by following the easy steps mentioned here.

- Go to airtel.in/WiFi-calling to check if your smartphone supports this service.
- Update the operating system of the device with the latest version so that it supports Wi-Fi calling.
- Turn on Wi-Fi calling by going to smartphone settings.
- Keep VoLTE on for the better experience.
Airtel Wi-Fi Calling is supported in the following smartphones:
- Apple- This feature supports all iPhones on iPhone 6s and above.
- Xiaomi – Xiaomi Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro and Poco F1 users can use this feature.
- Samsung- This feature supported in Samsung mobile that includes Samsung J6, On6 and M30s.
- OnePlus- Airtel Wi-Fi calling works on all smartphones of OnePlus 7 series.
