“TrueCaller” has arrived with three very much awaited updates which are Call Reason, Schedule SMS, and SMS Translate for users at a global level. TrueCaller will now not only allow you to identify the person but also you will now know the cause for which they are making you the call. This app with more than 250 million users aims to help us to beware of spam calls and to avoid those we don’t want to pick.
Let’s see the TrueCaller updates in detail –
Call Reason
This new feature will ask the user to input the reason for which they are making the call. It will help the user to know why the person on another side of the phone is calling. They will know if the call especially those coming from an unknown number, is a personal, business, urgent, or marketing call. It will enable them to analyze the importance of the call.
Businesses making calls to new prospects can set a message to be delivered on every call with this new update.
Schedule SMS
It allows the users to Schedule their SMS message by selecting the icon and they can choose the date and time they want the message to be delivered. It is available currently for Android Smartphone users only.
SMS Translate
This feature will automatically translate the message coming in a language unknown to you. It is powered by Google’s ML kit. Users can download additional languages other than those pre-downloaded on his mobile phone.
Additional languages can also be downloaded for translation in offline mode. This is also available only for Android users.

TrueCaller also made a claim that on an average monthly basis, it is over 9000 calls and messages and block over 300crores spam calls.
